I routinely come across some pretty strange things-sometimes unearth some pretty rare paper items....These original Vargas calendars were found in the basement of an old house in upstate NY(they were tucked away in a folder at the bottom of a box of paints....Pretty sweet..they are original 12 page calendars with a Vargas girl for every month (they are from 1942-1948 ) and the first photo is of a Pin-up mailer. I guess these were made to send out to our soldiers fighting overseas...I've never seen one of these before...and I may steam it open to check out the little pinup cards inside...cool stuff.
